Rebecca wins Miss Meath finals in Navan

Rebecca Grant from Ballivor will represent Meath in the Miss Ireland finals in Dublin later this month after being crowned Miss Meath 2012 at the local final last week. The Newgrange Hotel was proud to host the final of Miss Meath 2012 last Thursday 29th March. It was Rebecca's relaxed approach and confidence as well as her beautiful looks and charm that won over the judges on the night, earning her the title of Miss Meath 2012. The panel of judges consisted of former Miss Ireland Yvonne Costello, Jacqueline O'Sullivan, The White Door, Denise Cusack, Cusack Hotels and Vince Tully, Vince Tully Photography, who worked hard all day interviewing the contestants and putting them through their paces. When the stage was set and the show about to begin, it was up to the contestants to then prove that they had what it takes to be the next Miss Meath. First runner up was Megan Carroll from Ashbourne with Ciara Dixon as second runner up. There was also a prize for Miss Photogenic which was won by Leanne Lynch from Navan. The Miss Meath representative has been sponsored by Solar Nightclub as well as Jenny Russell Hairstylist from Panache Hair Salon in Kells who will be providing the hair for the finalist. Maria B will provide the dress for the big night and Beauty By Laura, will look after the make-up. Wild Tanning has provided the winner with a tanning voucher to be used for the Miss Ireland Final. The winner Rebecca Grant will also receive a year's modelling contract with Rebecca De Havalland Model Management.
