Breathtaking hot air balloon event takes to skies in Trim

The Trim Hot Air Balloon Fiesta - which takes place this Easter weekend from 7th-9th April - features a packed schedule of events with something promised for all the family. The event at The Porchfields will include an amazing display of special shape balloons, including The Barretstown Clown, Funny Bunny, Easter Chick, Darth Vader, Smurf, Action Man and more, which promise to transform the sky into a kaleidoscope of colours in a breathtaking showcase. In addition to three fun-filled days of spectacular ballooning and kite displays, there will be plenty of activities for children, including races, face-painting, balloon modelling, playground rides, Easter egg hunts, bouncy castles, kids' disco, balloon modelling and Old McDonald's Petting Farm with chicks, bunnies and lambs. The Trim Balloon Fiesta is one of 20 events around the country being supported by Cadburys who will provide Easter eggs for the Easter egg trail. Those attending are being advised to to book tickets online to avoid queues on the day and to fast-track entry. Daily tickets cost €10 for adults, €7.50 for students and OAPs and under-12s are free.
