Dermot Bolger's new play 'The Parting Glass' starring Ray Yeates visits Solstice this weekend.

Remember the hand of Thierry ...?

Following a series of four-star reviews and described by The Irish Times as "a rare achievement", renowned Dublin writer Dermot Bolger's new play 'The Parting Glass' starring Ray Yeates visits Solstice in Navan as part of a national tour on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th May. Remember this: "Thierry Henry is there to stretch out his hand for two illicit flicks of his wrist - one to stop the ball crossing the by-line, the second to tee it up for a flick across the box for Gallas to score." Where were you when our World Cup dreams were dashed? Eoin was at the heart of the drama in Stade de France, November 18th 2009. Reunited with Mick and Shane, the three amigos on that fateful night. After emigrating to Germany to find work during the 80s, Eoin made a new life for himself with the help of his wife Frieda and son Dieter. Now he returns to an Ireland that has boomed and bust. 'The Parting Glass' is a one-man show charting Eoin's journey through love, friendship, family and Ireland's turbulent economic climate. Tickets are €18 full price and €15 concessions and are available from Solstice Box Office on (046) 909 2300 or online at www.solsticeartscentre.ie
