Over 45,500 people from all over the world ran the New York Marathon, with over one million spectators lining the route through the five boroughs of New York. Enda is son of Aidan and Ann O'Carolan and now lives in Mullingar. He is pharmaceutical representative for Johnson & Johnson covering north Leinster for the company. He aims to raise €2,500 through his participation in the Paris Marathon. He is organising a bag pack in Buckley's Centra on Pearse Street, Mullingar, on Saturday 26th February from 12 noon till 7pm and he hopes to organise a 5km fun run in Mullingar. He has been very actively training and in late January took part in a 10km run in Portlaoise, and raised money for Or Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin.
