Navan Live supports suicide prevention

Navan Live 2010 organisers, Profile Music Group, have announced their nominated charity for Navan Live 2010, and say they are proud to be associated with 1Life for the duration of this event. 1Life is a nationwide suicide prevention helpline that launched in October 2009. It is a joint venture between Console (www.console.ie ) and 3T's, Turn the Tide of Suicide (www.3ts.ie ). The helpline is manned by qualified counsellors and therapists 24 hours every day. They work alongside a dedicated team of trained contract workers and volunteers. The purpose of 1Life is to provide those in suicidal crisis with emotional and practical round-the-clock professional support on 1800 24 7 100, or text HELP to 51444.
