Donore and Rosnaree Drama Group present a comedy farce called 'Continental Quilt' in the Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda, from 8th-13th March, nightly at 8pm. The play is set in Mike's flat and he is looking forward to a pleasant sojourn with his girlfriend Gloria. Scarcely has the curtain risen, however, than a ring of the doorbell shatters his plans. It's his brother Dick, seeking help after being thrown out by his wife, Marion, following her discovery of him in the bedroom with beautiful neighbour Angela "showing her the new continental quilt". In rapid succession follows Marion herself, Mike's formidable mother, a beetle-keeping neighbour, a sex-mad spinster, beautiful but dim Julia, ravishing Angela and Mike's henpecked father. There follows the most hectic evening of Mike's life as he tries to sort everything out. The show starts on Monday 8th March and continues until Saturday 13th March. Tickets are €10.
