Meath's Food Affair in Trim this week

The Meath Food Affair is being hosted by Meath Tourism at Trim Castle Hotel on Thursday 25th February from 5.30pm to 9pm, and Meath's restaurants and top chefs are chomping at the bit to get cooking. The chefs who will be on show have cooked in some of the very best restaurants in Ireland and Europe including Trocadero and Le Stampa, Dublin; the Ivy and L'Escargot in London and the renowned Walnut Tree in Wales. The event is open to the public with free entry on the night. You will be able to rub shoulders with the culinary masters, watching and learning from their live cookery demonstrations. There will even be an opportunity to test your cooking skills in the great 'Audience Vs Chef' cook-off! The first ever Meath Food Affair aims to encourage as many people as possible to visit the restaurants of Meath after the event to try out their fantastic menus.
