Fishamble's 'Forgotten' for Navan stage

The critically acclaimed play 'Forgotten' will be staged in the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, this Friday 12th February. Produced by award winning company Fishamble: the New Play Company, Forgotten comes to Navan prior to transferring to the Irish Arts Centre in New York for its US premiere, as well as performing in Boston and Washington DC. Pat Kinevane's captivating portrayal of four elderly characters, living in retirement homes and care facilities around Ireland, is a unique collage of Kabuki dance and Irish storytelling. With vibrancy and haunting honesty, Kinevane's stylized performance brings to life these sometimes forgotten voices of society. This boutique performance has been a major hit on tour in Ireland and internationally since it was first presented as part of Bealtaine Festival 2006. Pat Kinevane has worked as an actor in theatre, film, radio and television for the past twenty years. TV and film credits include 'Black Day at Blackrock', 'A Mother's Love's A Blessing', 'King Arthur' and 'Ballykissangel'. He played the title role in 'I, Keano' and has performed with leading Irish theatre companies nationally and internationally.
