West End's Killian Donnelly joins host of local talent at Solstice

Solstice Arts Centre in Navan is hosting an evening of major entertainment on Sunday evening next, 18th October, with the spotlight shining strongly on local talent. Audiences can look forward to a variety of traditional Irish music, choral arrangements, snippets from West End and Broadway musicals and a range of chart-topping hits in a genuine musical extravaganza. Performers include Athboy School Choir, dancer Adam Lynch and troupe, the Meath Harp Ensemble, the O'Shea School of Irish Dancing, Boardsmill Gospel Choir, rock group Chase, Tahila Gospel Choir, singer Tony Finnegan, St Mary's Musical Society and jazz fiddlers among others. Audiences will also be treated to a rare performance from Killian Donnelly from Kilmessan, who will make a special appearance while on a brief visit home from performing in 'Les Miserables' in London's West End. Donnelly is set to thrill audiences with his performance of 'Stars' and 'Bring him Home' on the night, both songs from the 'Les Mis' spectacular. International award-winning singer Jenny McCabe will also make a special appearance. She last took to the stage at Solstice dueting with Rebecca Storm and Peter Corry in the St Mary's Musical Society's concerts 'Moonlight and Music'. The talented singer recently performed a duet with Andrea Bocelli on RTE's 'Late Late Show' earlier this year.
