Mount Hanover and Dunboyne for Aviva

Mount Hanover and Dunboyne were  crowned Leinster Champions  at  the SPAR FAI Primary 5s competition played  at the MDL Grounds in Navan yesterday.

Mount Hanover Boys  were most impressive in  capturing the Section A Boys title for small schools.

They notched up three convincing wins with  top scorer Adam Kelly in scintillating form.

The boys from Dunboyne SNS, captained by the superb  Roland Banya, were magnificent in winning all three games and  Section C for Large Schools.

The girls from Yellow Furze qwere also in action and won two of their three games and  finished runners-up to St Colman's from Offaly in Section B, but that wasn't sufficient to earn a trip to the Aviva.

Both Meath schools can now look forward to playing in the All-Ireland finals at the Aviva Stadium on 11th May,  where they will play the winners from Connacht, Ulster and Munster in a round robin format.
