Blaney into u-21 final

Navan boxer Chris Blaney qualified for the final of under-21 National Boxing Championships this weekend.
Blaney, who played for Wolfe Tones in this years SFC, defeated Bernard Roe of Dublin Docklands boxing club in the semi-final on Friday night.
At the end of the first round the score was 2-2, but by the end of the second round it was 7-4 in favour of Blaney.
The Meath man took the third and final round by 5-4 with the final score 12-8 in his favour.
He will meet Conrad Cummings of the Holy Trinity Club, Belfast in the final on Friday night (28th October).
Blaney faces a stern challenge in the final, but he has beaten Cummings on a previous occasion.
