Week-long search for tennis success goes on in Kells

Last Saturday the 49th Meath Open Tournament hosted by Kells Tennis Club got underway and this week matches will take place as players seek to make an impact in the various categories. 

Membership is up this year for this popular annual event and interested spectators are welcome. The tournament consists of men’s and ladies singles, men’s doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles.  

The Meath Open tournament has become a very cosmopolitan event with players from over 12 countries competing for the cup.  The tournament will run all week with the finals being played on Saturday next, 23rd July. 

This year the tournament is proudly sponsored by Jack's Railway Bar, Kells who are providing catering for home and visiting players.
