Oscar for Robbie Wogan

Robbie Wogan

Robbie Wogan will take charge of the North East Football League Oscar Traynor Trophy team for 2017 / 2018 following his appointment this week.

Wogan was ratified after a lengthy selection process and he will take over the position vacated by former manger David Doyle who stepped down earlier in the summer.

Joining Wogan in a strong back room team are former club managers including Mark Jacob and Steve McGoona along with Robbie's son Rian.

Robbie is highly regarded within local soccer circles in Meath and Louth and is a huge believer in youth selections been a major part of his plans.

He has previously managed a Leinster u-19 cup-winning Navan Town in 2012 and is currently part of the Longford Town u-19 management team.
