Reilly gets ready to take on the Aussies

This is a big day for Meath rugby player Marie Louise Reilly as she lines out for Ireland when they take on Australia in the Women's Rugby World Cup. 

Reilly and her colleagues will face the Aussies in the UCD Bowl, at 7pm this evening in a game that will be shown live on RTE television.

With 50 caps already to her name the Meath woman is one of the most experienced players in the Irish set-up and she takes her place as one of the lock forwards. She will be accompanied by Paul Fitzpatrick in the second row. 

Up to 55,000 tickets were made available for all the World Cup games and tonight's clash with the Australians  has been sold out at the UDC Bowl. Other games will take place in UCD's Billings Park. 

The other games fixted for today include England v Spain, Wales v New Zealand, Canada v Hong Kong, Italy v USA and France v Japan. All the games are in the UCD complex.

Replacements: Leah Lyons, Ruth O'Reilly, Ciara O'Connor, Sophie Spence, Ciara Griffin, Nicole Cronin, Katie Fitzhenry, Mairead Coyne.
