Kavanagh scales heights at Clonroche

Sean Kavanagh from the Carton Equestrian Centre in Kilcloon had a successful outing at the Clonroche Gymkhana Charity Show in Wexford on Sunday in the triple bar high jump competition.

Sean was the overall winner over five rounds to clear the triple bar against some top class opposition.

He cleared it at a height of 1.75m to win the Ned Byrne Perpetual Cup and some valuable prizemoney.

Sean rode his own homebred five-year-old stallion 'Castlebridge Cassius' and the duo found the winning formula with some excellent rounds.

Sean and his father Owen run Carton Equestrian Centre based in Kilcloon.
