Motor rally start from Trim on Sunday morning

There will be plenty of action for local motorsport enthusiasts this weekend with the return of the ALMC car rally to Trim on Sunday morning where the action will start from the first stage at Lionsden followed by Rathcore and finally the legendary Galtrim stage.

Each stage will be completed three times and the overall stage distance is about 75 miles (120 kms)with the first car due away from Lionsden at 10.25am.

This event is a round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship and marks the return of the Dublin-based club to the national series for the first time since 1999.
