Meath earned a place in the All-Irland u-21 A HC final with a merited victory over Roscommon in Mullingar today.

Meath stormed to victory with an excellent team performance which re-inforced the confidence which manager Kevin Dowd had in the team after the clinched the Leisnter title at thee expense of Kildare.

Kerry beat fermanagh in the other semi-final by 3-25 to 1-9.

Galway will play Tipperary in the u-21 HC final at Semple Stadium on Sunday, 12th September. meath will play Kerry in the u-21 A HC decider which will be the curtainraiser for the big game.

In the All-Ireland Minor C Championship semi-final today, Armagh beat Meath by four points, Armagh 1-8, Meath 1-4.
