Dundalk double for McDonogh

Moynalty jockey Declan McDonogh was in double form at Dundalk last night.

The former champion jockey has returned after a stint in Australia.

McDonogh won the he Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap on Clebourne for trainer Darren Bunyan.

He followed that with a win in the concluding Kentucky Derby Qualifier at Dundalk March 2nd Handicap on Nimitz for trainer Charles O'Brien.

“I had a brilliant time in Australia. It was a great experience and everybody was very accommodating and helped me,” he said.

“I rode for all the big trainers and everything went well, it's something I'd love to do again, but it's great to be back,” added the Moynalty man.
