Ashbourne man Sean Lynch is gearing up for his 24th trip to Australia at the helm of the Irish team for the annual jockeys' challenge.

Paul Townend, Davy Condon, Mark Walsh and Steven Gray make up the four man team this year.

Gray was a member of the team that travelled last year.

The team will depart from Dublin on Friday, 13th August.

The series will be in South Australia and will comprise two races each at Gawler (18th August), Morphettville (19th) and Irish Day at Morphettville on Saturday 21st - a six-race series.

The South Australian Jockey Club have sponsored the air fares for the four participating jockeys and team manager Sean Lynch.
