The Galway Hurdle could be won by the youngest jockey in the race tomorrow when Keith Donoghue (16) from Dunshaughlin bids for his first victory in the race.

The Meath teenager will partner the Gordon Elliott-trained Grand Opera (20/1) in the feature event.

Elliott may have a better chance with second favourite Dirar (7/1) which will be ridden by Barry Geraghty who has yet to ride the winner of the Thursday centrepiece at Ballybrit.

Noel Meade will send Fisher Bridge to post under Paul Carberry after winning a two-mile flat handicap at The Curragh last month with the seven-year-old.

Ballivor trainer Joanna Morgan will be represented by Jigalo while local jockeys Robert Power (No One Tells Me), Andrew Lynch (Lady Hillingdon) and Roger Loughran (Magnum Force) will all be seeking their first victory in the Grade A event which is off at 4.50.
