There was plenty of celebrations in Kells last night after the Round Towers Syndicate won the last race at Dundalk.

That got the flat season off to a flyer for the locals after the improving Six Of Hearts stormed home.

Fran Berry was on board Six Of Hearts and emerged on top after a tight finish to the seven-furlong handicap to follow up on a win at the track last November.

Berry produced the Cecil Ross-trained gelding with a perfectly timed run inside the final furlong.

"The plan is to go for anything that comes up that he is eligible for, any of the Listed races or premier handicaps," suggested the trainer.
