Sheridan and Carroll seek All-Ireland glory

Experienced Meath softball campaigners Tom Sheridan and Brian Carroll will go in seach of national glory this weekend when they take part in the M Donnelly GAA All-Ireland championships.
Sheridan, who won the title in 2003, will be favourite to get the better of Roscommon's Ricki O'Gara in Mullingar while Carroll takes on Wexford's Colin Keeling.
Both Carroll and Keeling have claimed All-Ireland medals in doubles play.
One of the contestants expected to do well in the championships is Wexford hurler Barry Goff who will go toe-to-toe with Galway's Ollie Conway in Carlow while Cavan's Michael Finnegan has a difficult test with Kilkenny's Nicholas Anthony in Dublin.
In the women's championship Wicklow's Shauna Hilley clashes with Roscommon's Leona Doolin in Kells.
