McGrane moves into Race to Dubai top 60

Damien McGrane continued his recent run of good form when he finished in outright fifth place at the Portugese Open at Estoril at the weekend.

McGrane shot a magnificent eight under-par 64 on the opening day to take a share of the lead. He followed that with rounds of 70, 68 and 73 to finish on a total of 13 under par.

The Kells man pocketed a cheque of €42,400 which pushed him up to number 58 in the Race to Dubai standings moving him into the top 60 for the first time this season.
