Trim Celtic go top of the table

Trim Celtic produced a five star performance to leap to the top of the NEFL Premier Division table tonight ahead of their hosts Boyne Harps at United Park

Celtic won convincingly by 5-0 and took an early lead inside the first five minutes through Paul Campbell. 

The Drogheda side had a perfect opportunity to level from the penalty spot on 20 minutes, but Celtic keeper Danny Connell saved brilliantly.

A quick fire Brian Faulkner double on the half hour gave the hoops a 3-0 half-time lead.

Midway through the second-half substitute Lar Ivers grabbed a fourth and then wrapped up the scoring in the last 10 minutes to give the Trim side an emphatic victory.
