The Dunsany v Sumerhill preliminary JFC quarter-final scheduled for today at 1pm in Dunshaughlin has been postponed due to a bereavement in the Dunsany club.

The information came through this morning in relation to the passing of Dunsany club president Joan Flynn last night.

The deceased was the widow of the late Jimmy Flynn who was a founder member of the club.

The Flynn family has a strong GAA tradition with the Dunsany club and at Co Board level also as the late Mrs Flynn was mother of Co Board secretary Francis Flynn and grandmother of Ciaran Flynn.
