SFC and IFC postponed

The Competitions Control Committee (CCC) of Meath GAA confirmed last night (Sunday) that all SFC and IFC second round games scheduled for next weekend have been postponed until a later date.
Meath's disappointing 0-13 to 2-16 defeat by Kildare in the Leinster SFC semi-final precipitated tghe need to postpone next week's fixtures as Andy McEntee's charges will now be in All-Ireland SFC qualifier action against Sligo in Pairc Tailteann on either Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd July.
Tonight's round of SHC game involving Meath senior footballers Bryan McMahon (Ratoath), Mickey Burke (Longwood) and James Toher (Trim) are expected to go ahead as scheduled.
Tonight's SHC games include Toher's Trim against Burke's Longwood in Kildalkey, McMahon's Ratoath taking on Dunboyne in Dunshaughlin and the clash of Dunderry and Kildalkey in Athboy, all games are scheduled to start at 7.45pm.
