O'Brien position in doubt

Eamonn O'Brien's position as Meath senior football manager is in doubt following a decision by delegates at tonight's Co Committee meeting in Navan not to ratify the Walterstown man for a third year.

O'Brien was proposed by the Executive of the Meath Co Committee to be returned as manager of the Meath senior football team, but following a lenghty debate amongst the delegates a vote on his re-appointment was defeated by 29-32.

Nomination will now be sought for the post.
