Cortown secured their IFC status for another year with a hard-earned victory over Clann na nGael at Kilskyre tonight.
Cortown trailed by 0-5 to 0-7 at the interval, but were boosted when Clann na nGael were reduced to 14 due to Graham Geraghty's second yellow card.
An action-packed second-half had the large crowd on their toes and Clann na nGael stayed in front until the closing stages when Cortown grabbed a vital second goal.
Cortown also had a Justin Reilly red-carded on the stroke of full-time.
