Neven Maguire cooking at Tayto Park

This Sunday December 16th from 2pm, Craft of Christmas at Tayto Park will play host to a fun and festive cookery demonstration by special guest, Irish chef and television personality Neven Maguire. Tayto Park's Craft of Christmas market features products from 40 local producers of food and crafts, giving visitors the opportunity to browse from stall to stall through the indoor 'village-style' setting, meeting the people behind the products and discovering their passion for all things artisan.

Whether it's cupcakes from Johnnie Cupcakes, hand-made pottery from Gráinne Rafferty, apple pie ice-cream from Bernie Burke or a fine chardonnay from the Wine Buff, there is something for everyone at this year's Craft of Christmas. You will also find the perfect gift for friends and family - a selection of local hand-made chocolates, cheeses, children's clothes, candles, traditional Irish sweets, natural skincare ranges, and a whole lot more... On for another two weekends, 15th and 16th, 21st and 22nd December, between now and Christmas, Craft of Christmas has special offers, brass bands and carol singers as well as Christmas storytelling, face painting and balloon making to keep the children entertained.

From when he was a young spud, Mr Tayto had always dreamed of opening up his park for the Tayto eaters of this great nation. Located in Kilbrew, Ashbourne, Co. Meath and with over 100 attractions including the only mega zip line attraction of its kind in Ireland, Tayto Park has something for all the family to enjoy. Tayto Park had more good news for its visitors recently with the announcement of its new and exciting restaurant menu, offering gourmet breakfast, brunch and carvery lunch menus prepared by Chris Allen, executive chef on site.

Entry into Craft of Christmas is €5, which includes free entry into Tayto Park. Over 60s go free, further information on exactly what's happening each weekend can be found at http://craftofchristmas.ie/. Seating for demonstrations is limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
