Currently Mayor of Navan, and member of one of best-known Fianna Fail families in Meath. Fitzsimons family has represented Navan area at council, Dail and European Parliament level for past 75 years. Chairman of St Patrick"s Day committee which brought hugely successful parade back to Navan this year. Married with three children. Works in family public house and undertaking business, managing and running The Stonehouse.
