Youth apprehended after Navan knife incident

Navan Garda Station

A 16-year old youth has been taken into Navan Garda Station following a serious incident involving a knife on Market Square, Navan, this morning. 

The incident happened around 10.30am when the male youth threatened a member of the public at the bus stop on the square. 

Gardai who were watching the incident on CCTV camera were quickly on the scene and apprehended the youth.
