Passing of Fr Ronan Drury

The death has occurred of Fr Ronan Drury, Professor Emeritus of Homiletics at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth,  peacefully at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends.

A native of Mullagh, Co. Cavan, Fr Drury was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Meath in 1949.  

Fr Drury was a regular visitor to parishes in Meath where he will be missed by many friends.  

Bishop Michael Smith will celebrate the Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s College, Maynooth on Monday at 11am.
