Farm To Fork, Athboy, (FTF Athboy) is a Midlands Finalist in the second annual Food Awards Ireland taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin tonight.
FTF Athboy was opened in 2016 by chef Chris Allen.
Chris is a committed and passionate executive-level chef with over 25 years experience in the catering and hospitality industry. Highlights of his career include Head Chef at The Ivy and Le Caprice in London as well as working with Harrods in Knightsbridge as an interpretive chef.
Chris opened FTF Bistro in December 2016 with the aim to deliver fresh, well-cooked dishes - using locally sourced seasonal produce.
The food balances luxurious indulgence with delightfully fresh herbs from our herb wall and kitchen garden. Also in the running for an award tonight is Aidan Cosgove's Room 8 in Navan.
