DBASS hosts budget breakfast tomorrow morning

Ashbourne-based accountancy practice DBASS will host its annual post-Budget breakfast briefing to discuss how the changes will impact local businesses.

The briefing will take place on Wednesday, 11 October 2017, the morning after the Budget announcement by the Minister of Finance, Paschal Donohoe.

This free to attend seminar from 7.30am - 9.30am at the Crowne Plaza Dublin-Blanchardstown, will feature expert talks and presentations from senior partners at DBASS and one of Ireland’s most experienced financial and economic commentators, investment consultant Gerry Keenan.

DBASS managing partner Dermot Brennan will give a summary of the salient points from the budget and how the changes may affect local businesses. Tax partner Michael Byrne will talk about tax planning opportunities for individuals and businesses. Guest speaker, Gerry Keenan will look at the economic outlook for Ireland and abroad following Minister Donohoe’s budget announcement.

Around 150 local business owners and managers are expected to attend and will each receive a Budget briefing pack with insight and detailed guidance on all the changes. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and network afterwards.

Managing partner at DBASS Chartered Accountants, Dermot Brennan, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming businesspeople from across Co Meath and the north Dublin region.

“The event will provide an overview of key areas from the budget and how the changes will impact businesses, and will help them make sense of the government’s plans for the economy.

“It’s also a great opportunity for people to network and has proved very popular with a record number of delegates year-on-year.”
