Tommy Carberry funeral on Sunday

The funeral of trainer Tommy Carberry will take place in Ratoath on Sunday. The former jockey died peacefully this afternoon at Kilbrew Demense, Curraha, aged 75.

 He is reposing at Mc Entaggart's Funeral Home, Ratoath from 3pm until 8pm on Saturday, with funeral Mass on Sunday at 12.15pm in the Holy Trinity Church, Ratoath, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Beloved husband of Pamela and father of Thomas, Paul, Mark, Philip, Nina and Peter Jon, Tommy will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Anna and Bess, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Saturday will see the racing fraternity gather in Manister, Croom, Co Limerick, for the funeral of former champion jockey Martin Moloney, who died yesterday, aged 91. Moloney won three Irish Grand Nationals at Fairyhouse.
