Nobber Duathlon on Saturday

The second annual Nobber NS/Fitness Base Duathlon will take place on Saturday 25th March at 2pm.

Following on from last year's hugely successful fundraiser the local national school, Scoil Eoin Báiste and Nobber and Kingscourt based Fitness Base have come together again to host this fun and challenging run/cycle/run event.
The duathlon will comprise of a 3km run within the environs of the village followed by a 23.5 Km cycle.
The cycle route will take competitors from the centre of the village to Cassidy’s Tyre centre, where they will turn left heading towards Donohues Pub at Woodtown, where they will wheel left towards Drumconrath, turning left at the Nobber Cross and travelling 12km from there back into Nobber.
The conclusion of the event will see the competitors repeat the 3km run again and cross the finish line in the grounds of the primary school.
Registration for the race will take place from 12 noon on the day with cost of entry €20 for each duathlete.

All proceeds from the race will go towards the National School  Development fund and there will be prizes awarded for the first three athletics placed in in the male and female categories.
