Death of Geraldine Monerawela

The death has occurred of Geraldine Monerawela, of the well-known Navan publishing business family, of Bailis House, Athlumney.

 

Formerly McCorry and a native of Belfast, she is survived by her husband Chandre, family, Rohan, Nalin, Garath, Kahal, Chandie, Amanda, Malik and Kevin, special niece Amira Marikar, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Bernard and John, sisters-in-law Bernadette and Hilary, brother-in-law Abu Marikar (America), sister-in-law, Manel Rajapakse and brother-in-law Francis Rajapakse, (Sri Lanka); son-in-law Finbar, daughters-in-law Marian, Martina, Gerda and Deborah, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Her remains are reposing at St Joseph's Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday, arriving in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Johnstown on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Old Kilcarn cemetery.
