Top prizes for Meade Potato Company and Tattersalls

The sixth Meath Business & Tourism Awards 2015 took place at the Newgrange Hotel in Navan last Friday evening (27th November), with Meade Potato Company, Lobinstown, emerging as the winner of the overall Meath Business of the Year for 2015. Tattersalls, Ratoath, were awarded the overall Meath Tourism prize on the night.

Over 270 packed the main function room of the Newgrange Hotel to hear the winners announced, as well as several category winners in both the business and tourism sections.

The MC on the night was Rath Chairn native Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh. Organised annually since 2010 by the Meath Chronicle, the awards are supported by Meath County Council, Meath Tourism, Generali PanEurope, the Newgrange Hotel, AIB, Crew Barbers, Boliden Tara Mines, Alltech, Dromone Engineering and Sheridan Insurances.
