Two very special sixth class pupils of Skryne National School will be celebrating a very important event with their classmates today (Wednesday 12th December).

Two very special sixth class pupils of Skryne National School will be celebrating a very important event with their classmates today (Wednesday 12th December).

Tara Farnan and her classmate, Conor Powderly, are celebrating their birthdays today - the 12.12.12 - and you've guessed it - they are both 12 years-old!

The unique event means that all their classmates will be celebrating with them today and the pair have been receiving lots of attention from their classmates because of the amazing coincidence.

Both youngsters are looking forward to going to school this morning as all the twelves align for their 12th birthdays. One thing their families and friends have guaranteed is that there will be plenty of surprises in store for them both.
