Councillor calls for urgent road repairs in Moynalty

Kells area councillor, Bryan Reilly, has called on Meath County Council to carry out immediate repairs on the road network in the Moynalty area.

In particular, he wants to see repairs to the roads around Billywood. Loughan and Ballinaclieve, which are in an atrocious condition.

"These areas are in a serious condition with potholes. Locals and the public in general have been experiencing great difficulty on these roads, with damage to vehicles reported," he said.

Cllr Reilly said he has received numerous calls for requests for immediate repairs and has made representations to Meath County Council to highlight the problems and to ask that these roads be inspected and repaired as a matter of extreme urgency.
