Andrew's hometown opera appearance

'Acis and Galatea', Handel's pastoral tale receives a fresh contemporary twist by director Tom Creed, in Opera Theatre Company's new production with renowned baroque specialist Peter Whelan conducting the Irish Baroque Orchestra, starring tenor Eamonn Mulhall and soprano Susanna Fairbairn as the thwarted lovers with bass baritone Edward Grint as Polyphemus and Navan tenor Andrew Gavin as Damon. Ensemble includes Sinead O'Kelly, Peter O'Reilly, Fearghal Curtis and Cormac Lawlor. Design by Paul O’Mahony, lighting design by Aedín Cosgrove, costume design by Catherine Fay and choreograph by Paula O'Reilly.
