National talent competition final for Solstice

The Macra na Feirme National Talent Competition Finals return to Meath this Saturday, when they take place in the Solstice Arts Centre.

Now in it's 31th year, it will be an eclectic mix of song, dance, music and comedy as teams and solo performers from Waterford, Tipperary, Cork, Offaly, Laois, Cavan, Louth and Meath will compete in Disco Dancing, Solo Singing, Comedy, Solo Instrumental, Mastermind, Novelty Act, Set Dancing and Ballad Group Categories.

Local clubs Athboy and Enfield will represent the Royal County. Athboy in the Ballad Group, Set Dancing and Mastermind categories while Enfield will hope to bring home the Comedy, Novelty Act and Disco Dancing titles.
