Imelda May chats to Mark and Oisin, The Lost Brothers.

Lost Brothers join Imelda May for new year's eve

The Lost Brothers, which includes Navan musician Oisin Leech, will take part in Imelda May's new year's eve special on RTE. The prestigious 'Imelda May Show' show includes Bob Geldof, Hothouse Flowers, Soak, and more.

'We are delighted to sing on the tv show and it's an honour to be asked. Imelda May is a great inspiration for Irish musicians. For this gig I think I better go in the attic and get my good suit!' says Oisin. The show will be broadcast at 7.30pm on RTE 1 on Thursday.

The duo, Oisin and Mark McCausland, have been having a busy Christmas.  On Christmas morning, they joined actor Cillian Murphy, members of The Gloaming, and Villagers for a unique broadcast of 'Cathal Murray's Christmas' on RTE Radio 1. The radio show included readings and songs.

The Lost Brothers have recently gone from strength to strength with this months sold-out to capacity show at the Solstice Arts Centre which has become an annual highlight on the music calendar for many. The band was joined this month by Terry Woods from The Pogues who brought his skill and craft as a master musician to the Navan stage. Support on the night came from Simon Fagan and Red Queen Contest who both gave wonderful performances.

2016 sees The Lost Brothers going on a headline European Tour which has just been announced. The tour includes dates in Paris, Berlin and Dublin at St Michans Church January 29th.
