Pilgrim st album launch tonight

Pilgrim St launch their debut EP ‘Welcome to Pilgrim St’ in Solstice Arts Centre on Friday 3rd July. The five track EP was recorded in Crookedwood Recording Studio, live in one day. The seven strong Meath band bring together a host of different musical influences that include bluegrass, old time country and folk into their songwriting. Formed in 2014 from music sessions in a couple of Navan pubs, they’ve developed a big local following and have played in Electric Picnic 2014 and supported Declan O’Rourke in Vicar Street and The Lost Brothers in a sold out memorable night in the Solstice in late 2014. Made up of members of Trigger and the Hitmen, The Great Simones singer/songwriter Eugene Donegan and trad fiddler Cathal McQuaid, they have developed a unique sound. The Solstice gig is part of a small nationwide tour by the band to promote their new EP. See www.pilgrimst.com
