Navan men behind Eurovision hopeful

Since being announced as one of the Eurosong nominees for 2013, Ryan Dolan's 'Only Love Survives' has been topping all the polls. It is No 1 with Paddy Power Bookies to win Eurosong. It is being cited as the No 1 contender to represent Ireland at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Ryan is being mentored by Stuart O'Connor from Spotlight Stage School in Navan and is managed by Conor Mulhall's Savee Entertainment, also from Navan. Public reaction to Ryan's song has been fantastic! Following its official release last Thursday 'Only Love Survives' made an immediate impression on the iTunes pop charts leading the Eurosong nominees by reaching the top 20 position and receiving thousands of new views every day on You Tube. Ryan, who hails from Co Tyrone, co-wrote his song 'Only Love Survives' with fellow Strabane man - songwriter/producer Wez Devine. They are very hopeful that their latest composition will make it to Malmö for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest and bring Eurovision back to Ireland for the 8th time. Stuart O'Connor is Ryan's mentor for the Eurosong competition. Stuart is a director of Spotlight Productions and is one of Ireland's top producers and choreographers. He is the man behind the massively successful Jedward Panto and all Jedward's live tours in the last three years. He devised the performance of Waterline at last years Eurovision. He has just devised and directed The Best of Eurovision Show with six previous winners Johnny Logan, Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh ,Dana, Charlie McGettigan and Paul Harrington.
