St Colmcille's BNS survive Ratoath comeback in thriller

Victory went to St Colmcille's BNS  in the Boys Div 1 Football decider in the Meath Primary Schools' finals at Trim today but they had to survive a strong comeback from Rataoth Senior Primary School.

At the interval St Colmcille's led 2-3 to 1-1 and they were in front, 4-5 to 1-7, at one stage in the second-half but Ratoath came back strongly. 

Oisin Breathnach showed the way with two goals for the winners while Aaron McElvaney topscored for Rataoth with 1-4. 

The game was full of all-out, high-quality attacking football with St Colmcille's displaying an attacking verve added to a defensive solidity to win through.
