Dublin stab victim was Ballivor native
The 36-year-old man who was found dead at an apartment in Ballyfermot, Dublin, earlier this week was named as David Ennis, who was originally from Ballivor.
Gardai and the emergency services attended a flat in Cladagh Court, Ballyfermot, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 8th November, where they found a body with an apparent stab wound.
He has been named locally as David Ennis from Ballivor.
A woman aged in her late 40s who was arrested by investigating Gardaí was later released without charge on yesterday (Wednesday) evening and a file is now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Locals in Ballivor were shocked to hear the dead man was David Ennis who grew up in St Oliver's Park, Ballivor. He went to school locally and was well known in the area. One local said they were "dumbfounded" to hear who the victim was and said he was a from a very nice , hardworking family.
