It was a night of double celebration on Friday as the Meath Style Awards marked its 10th birthday alongside honouring an array of top local businesses from around the county.
The event in association with Specsavers, Navan took place once again after a long three year break in the stunning surroundings of the Headfort Arms in Kells in what was a night to be remembered.
As the Prosecco flowed and sequins sparkled, ten Meath businesses were honoured in a host of categories at the social event of the year with Ambrose Clinton Hair and Beauty winning the prestigious Overall Excellence in Style award.
Specsavers Navan, returned for their 7th year in supporting what is always one of the highlights of the year on the social calendar with a full house always guaranteed. This year saw over 200 pack into the Kenlis Suite for the glittering occasion.
Our hosts, former winner and host Paul Carroll and former Miss Ireland Chelsea Farrell did an amazing job keeping us entertained for the evening and would have been more than worthy of winning an award for most glamorous pair on the night!
That gong, however, went to another dapper gentleman, musician Tommy Jay who won most stylish on the night!
The celebrations continued well after the last award was dished out as winners and their supporters danced the night away to country singer Shane O'Neill leaving no doubt to how much people valued the occasion after Covid deprived us all of social connectivity for so long. Very much on the everyone's minds was how truly heroic our local entrepreneurs are, riding the waves of the pandemic, supporting the community and coming out fighting the other side.
Commenting on the 10th Meath Style Awards, Celtic Media Group Marketing Manager, Mary McGuigan said: “The Style Awards is such a special night. It's always wonderful to see all our local boutiques and outlets and artists working in the business of style getting due recognition. And all our winners and nominees are just wonderful ambassadors and inspirations.
“It couldn't happen, of course, without our sponsors and we so appreciate their support and encouragement."
“We’d like to thank our amazing sponsors including Specsavers, Navan, The Headfort Arms Hotel, Preppys, Balance Spa, Ebony, Stiletto, Dental Care Ireland, Yes Boss, Skin and Body Works, June Rayfus Interiors and Meath County Council.”
