Ballivor student's EU debating success

Dylan McCarthy from Ballivor, along with his team debating partner Jack Palmer won the European Union Debating Competition in Zagreb earlier this month.

The prestigious competition was only ever won once by an Irish team 2010 (King's College). This is the first time it's been won by a Trinity team. Dylan (21), attended primary school in St Dympna’s NS, Kildalkey; post primary school in Athboy Community School and is a third year philosophy and political science student. Jack is a second year philosophy and political science student.
