Meath punter wins €500,000 on Euromillions

A Lucky Meath EuroMillions player won a shoppping €500,000  in last night's draw.

Players in Meath and Kildare are today being urged to check their tickets after last night’s EuroMillions draw incredibly produced two winners of the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000. The winning tickets which are now worth €500,000 each were sold in Newbridge  and Ashbourne.

With no jackpot winner of Tuesday’s €163 million mega jackpot, Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now estimated at an astonishing €180 million.

The winning tickets which were both Quick Pick selection tickets were sold at the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne  and Dunnes Stores in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers are: 17, 31, 37, 40, 46

Manager of the Kilmoon Service Station, Irma Fimkute said: “Despite the bad weather, this great news is certainly putting a smile on our customers faces this morning! As news spreads throughout the town, we have been inundated with our customers who are checking their tickets in the hope that they are one of the lucky winners. We would urge all of our customers to check their tickets carefully and we wish them all the very best with their huge win.”

“To celebrate this win with our customers, the store owners here will kindly share the stores selling bonus among all of the staff members so we all have a little extra to celebrate today,” she added.
